the ref. 1600 Cartier Tank Louis “extra pate” featuring the ultra thin F. Piguet caliber 21 is the only real “pre cpcp” version as it’s sharing the ref with the later “Paris” signed models from the collection privée unlike the late models of the ref. 96065 which also feature the guilloche dial though. This very example is in beautiful condition… it appears to be unpolished and has the very pronounciated caseback finish as well as not many signs of wear on the case. The dial has gained some patina over the years which is only very lightly visible to the eye. The strap is like new and comes equipped with a correct post 1988 depoyante clasp.
