Rolex Cosmograph Daytona reference 6263 in 18k yellow gold, measuring approximately 37 millimeters and powered by the manual winding caliber 727, chronometer certified as stated on the dial. The reference features the black acrylic tachymeter bezel and screw down pushers that define the classic 6263 configuration.
Gold examples of the 6263 were produced in very small numbers and were unconventional for a tool oriented chronograph, making them exceptionally rare and highly collectible today. This watch is fitted with a champagne dial with black subsidiary counters, a configuration that creates strong contrast and pairs exceptionally well with the yellow gold case and black bezel.
The dial is in outstanding condition with flawless surface quality, crisp printing and beautifully aged luminous material that has developed an even camel tone. The case and bracelet present very well, maintaining strong definition and an impressive overall appearance.
This example is offered as a full set, including its original guarantee dated July 31, 1985, product literature, presentation box and outer packaging. A cornerstone reference in Rolex history and one of the most desirable Daytona models ever produced, especially in this rare and complete yellow gold configuration.
