Patek Philippe reference 1485 in stainless steel, produced in 1941 and sold in 1942, measuring approximately 31 millimeters and powered by a manual winding movement. This reference is exceptionally rare in steel and highly sought after among collectors of early waterproof Patek Philippe wristwatches.
The watch features applied Breguet numerals and a clean, well balanced dial layout. The waterproof case construction is a notable technical detail for the period and adds to the historical importance of the piece.
An Extract from the Archives confirms the production and sale dates. The watch is fitted with a non-Patek leather strap and a non-Patek buckle. A very scarce and important vintage Patek Philippe, particularly desirable in stainless steel with applied Breguet numerals.
important note: one of the case-sliders at the 3-o'clock position is missing, which does not influence the mechanics or beauty but is worth mentioning
