Cartier Tank Must de Cartier GM “Art Deco” reference 1616, sold in 1995 and produced as a limited edition of 1000 pieces. The watch is powered by a quartz movement and housed in a rhodium plated 925 sterling silver case, measuring approximately 23 by 31 millimeters.
The Swiss signed dial has aged beautifully and evenly, retaining distinct blue accents that have not patinated, creating a striking contrast and preserving the Art Deco character of the design. Legibility remains excellent, and the dial is a key highlight of this example.
