Breguet had its renaissance in the late 1980s completely transforming their former catalogue, making many collectors forget what the brand offered in the decades before their turn back towards haute complications and larger case sizes! The mid century Breguet classics such as this “cushion” style Breguet wristwatch are up and coming with many seasoned collectors falling again for the value Breguet models from that time, with their smaller case dimensions and beautifully handmade cases and dials had to offer. This very model is in impeccable condition with only very light signs of wear and a super sharp case with sharp “double eagle” hallmark and engraving on the caseback indicating the watch has never been polished and most probably only rarely worn. The “breguet” style hands on the lovely creamy “guilloche main” dial complete the style perfectly. Miraculously the original buckle has also been preserved.
