This Vacheron Constantin 1972 Asymétrique reference 37010 is an exceptionally rare and elegant reinterpretation of one of the maison’s most distinctive designs, inspired by the legendary Prestige de la France model introduced in 1972. Crafted in 18k yellow gold, the asymmetrical case captures the daring and architectural spirit of the original while presenting a refined modern execution.
The silver brushed dial features applied Roman numerals and minimalist detailing that emphasize the clean geometry of the design. Inside beats the hand wound caliber 1055, a slim and beautifully finished movement that reflects Vacheron Constantin’s dedication to technical excellence and aesthetic harmony.
Produced in 2000, this example comes with its original box, booklets, catalogues from the 1972 collection and an Extract from the Archives dated 2024. It is fitted with its original 18k yellow gold Vacheron Constantin pin buckle and a custom made crocodile strap. Preserved in good overall condition with light signs of wear, this 1972 Asymétrique 37010 stands as a sophisticated and rarely seen expression of Vacheron Constantin’s creative design legacy.
