Piaget pocket watch ref. 9513 in 18k yellow gold, designed in the form of a clutch style handbag. The case measures 31 by 42 millimeters and dates to around the 1970s. It features an intricate construction with woven gold strands forming the outer structure, hinged to reveal a matte finished central section that houses the movement. This design showcases Piaget’s mastery of decorative goldwork during this era.
Inside is the ultra thin manual winding Piaget caliber 9P, one of the brand’s most celebrated movements for its reliability and exceptionally slim profile. The off white dial is clean and well preserved with minimal aging and retains its original hands and printing.
A rare and beautifully executed Piaget creation that reflects both high craftsmanship and the distinctive design language of the 1970s. Offered in very good overall condition.
