Cartier watches are known for timeless designs, classic shapes and mainly the white dial with black roman numerals, that’s a Cartier right? No, not always! Cartier is also the nicknamed the “king of jewelers” and this watch proves that, Basically we have a Cartier Tank.. basically.. what we really have might be one of the most special Tanks we’ve had the honor to offer to you. It’s a factory set yellow gold Cartier Tank Louis ladies version, with a special reference 78227, which is very cool already. But the real showstopper lays in the dial, what we have here is a two-tone onyx and pink coral dial, “Paris” signed, in perfect condition without any cracks or patina. It might be one of the rarest version within the post 1973 Cartier Tank family and only one more model is known right now. It has been serviced by Cartier in 2008 and has not been worn since, but even before it appears to have not been worn lots. It’s accompanied by the service papers as well as a 2008 Cartier Box, and comes on a Cartier strap and buckle also addded in 2008.
